Jed Benjamin Iverson, Esq. opened Iverson Law Office, P.L.C in 2006 in order to serve victims of personal injury accidents and to fight for people's rightful benefits against reluctant insurance companies. Mr. Iverson takes pride in helping people from all walks of life pursue their insurance claims and recover the benefits they are entitled to. Having practiced almost exclusively in the area of personal injury law for ten years, Mr. Iverson is dedicated to helping injury victims and has the knowledge and experience to help his clients stand up to powerful insurance companies.

As an attorney and counselor at law, Mr. Iverson takes both his role as a legal adviser and as a counselor seriously. Different people have different needs and concerns. Mr. Iverson works to understand each client's individual circumstances and to ensure that each client understands the insurance and legal processes before advising and counseling clients. This allows clients to make informed decisions that are in their best interest. 

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Iverson graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business, obtaining a General Management degree with an emphasis in International Development. After working in India as a management consultant for an Indian Non-Profit Organization, Mr. Iverson attended the University St. Thomas School of Law as a Presidential Scholar, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 2004.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Iverson studied Cross-Cultural Communication and International Development in Pune, India. He also completed an internship researching alternative energy resources in a small village in Western India. During law school, Mr. Iverson studied Comparative Law and Legal Theory in London, England.

Mr. Iverson previously served on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Justice Foundation, http://www.mnjustice.org/  and as volunteer court monitor for WATCH, following cases involving sexual violence and providing feedback to the justice system.

MEDIATOR, ARBITRATOR, AND ATTORNEY

As an attorney, Mr. Iverson has focused his continuing legal education on alternative dispute resolution and cross-cultural conflict resolution. In the process, Mr. Iverson has become qualified as a Civil Arbitrator and Mediator in Minnesota. Mr. Iverson is currently a Qualified Neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for Civil Facilitative, Hybrid, Adjudicative, and Evaluative Alternative Dispute Resolution. Since 2010, Mr. Iverson has served as a No-Fault Insurance Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Iverson is currently available to serve as a Civil Mediator or Arbitrator. Note that Mr. Iverson has a particular passion for assisting in the resolution of cross-cultural disputes, whether they be between people of different nationalities, people who just have different personal values and perspectives, or anything in between.

Mr. Iverson is admitted to practice law before the Minnesota Supreme Court and all other Minnesota Courts. Mr. Iverson is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
